Bring in the Light with Yoga

My name is Angela. I'm a fully qualified & insured bodywork therapist, specialising in Ayurvedic, Thai and Holistic massages. I’m also a Yoga and Reiki teacher, as well as a Breathwork facilitator.
My aim is to share knowledge, inspiration & facilitation for you to realise your full potential as a healthy, vibrant, conscious being.

My love of massage has always been with me. I began treating family as young as four! In my teens I developed a deep passion & curiosity for the world & the healing wisdom inherent to many of humanities ancient cultures.

Aged 18 I began to travel & learn in earnest. I was attuned to Reiki, discovered yoga and I developed a great love affair with peace, comfort and strength! I studied Thai Massage in N.Thailand and Ayurveda in India, Holland and the UK. I worked in spas and hotels world wide.

Today as a yoga teacher it is deeply rewarding to share this ancient wisdom grounded, trialled and approved by modern medicine. It is a vast body of knowledge that continues to grow. I love my work! Daily I see people replace tension and pain with relief, self empowerment and comfort.

My education, experience & inspiration lie in the integrative teachings & living practise of Ayurveda, Shamanism, Reiki, Raw foodism, Nutritional balancing, Yoga, Meditation, Thai massage, Breathwork, Scroll down....  Aromatherapy & Sound healing treatments.
I acheived distinction in the study of Anatomy and Physiology.
I am my own laboratory and continue to embrace life even in the midst of great challenge

I began my Reiki healing journey at 18 years old and after 19 years completed that training! Now I teach others how to be their best Reiki practitioner. Again, a joy to witness many  people develop and strengthen their unique gifts and connection to Reiki that then extends to their friends and family and clients.

I am passionate about learning & continue to study through my personal journey, books, and further courses. It's these health embracing influences and continued inspiration, that enrich each interaction. Whether that be for a simple, lighthearted relax and unwind treatment. Or, with Breathwork to go deeper, dis-cover and integrate the tough stuff & know a sense of balance, purpose, health & fullfillment. It's all possible.

Humanity is evolving fast. With all the pressures of life it is all too easy to forget who we really are. It's an incredible time in history to be walking the earth....so much rapid change!
The range of natural therapies I offer, can support you to not just cope with life, but actually embrace & enjoy it.

  • Pinda Sweda
~I find the Pinda sweda massages very therapeutic. The treatment is a warm oil treatment using a compress full of healing herbs. I can really feel the depth of the treatment and it really helps to relieve tension in my muscles. It is a wonderfully intense experience and I feel so relaxed by the end of it that it’s difficult to get off the bed.

  • Herbal Compress
This hot oil herb compress massage treatment is a revelation to me. It seems to be reaching deep tissue without the need for high pressure, sometimes painful standard massage technique. Angela has an amazing skill and is a highly professional, intuitive therapist and I would highly recommend her and the Pinda Sweda treatment to anyone.

  • Hopi Ear Candles
My son has had chronic excessive wax since he was tiny, he used to suffer repeated painful ear infections, as the middle ear's eustachian tube became congested. This resulted in antibiotics, followed by a period of debilitation and reduced immune response, often with further complications of being suseptible to any bug's/virus's circulating at the time.
For the last 3 years he has had  preventitve treatments of ear candles at key times when I'm sure he's at risk ie; autumn, before all the cold bugs start going around, and if he's a bit run down. He's not had an ear infection since. What a relief all round!

  • Warm Oil Packs
~...I’ve also had the warm oil packs and massage. This is a beautiful, warming and relaxing treatment and especially lovely in the winter months. Angela is a very warm, kind and professional holistic therapist and she brings all of this and her vast knowledge to the treatment. I’ve had a lot of massages over the years and Angela is by far the best.

  • Ayurvedic Consultation
"I was introduced to Angela on a retreat day. I made an appointment initially for an ayurvedic consultation, it was amazing. I was blown away by her knowledge and sensitivity. Not only are the treatments she offers very therapeutic for the literal body, but there is something about what she does that works on a deeply emotional level. OK, I'm a closet hippie but I'm also a cynic which means its pretty difficult to accept some of the more untangible aspects of holistic treatments, with Angela I believe and trust."
